colours and sea animals


Activity 9
Age group: 6-8 year-olds
Game:
Vocabulary: colours and sea animals (crab, fish, jellyfish, octopus, seahorse, starfish, orange, green, blue, pink, yellow, purple)
Time: 15’
Interaction Pattern: T-Ss

Preparation for the game: to be played in a classroom with E-board with internet access.

 


Instructions:


1.   Choose a S at a time to go to the e-board and do the command requested.
2.   As the game has been played but there are some Ss to play, just reset it and start everything again.
3.   As a follow-up activity the T can write the names of the sea animals on the e-board and do a chorus repetition with the Ss.

Activity 6
Age group: 3-5 year-olds
Game: Colouring a Rainbow
Vocabulary: colours (red, yellow, pink, green, orange, violet and blue)
Time: 15’

Interaction Pattern: T- Ss

Preparation for the game: to be played in a classroom with an E-board with internet access.

 

 

Instructions:

1.   Revise the colours previously worked on.
2.   Help the Ss with some extra vocabulary (sky, Sun,…) What really matters in this step of the game is to have the Ss recognize the colours.
3.   Make sure all the Ss participate. If you need to play the game more than once just reset it.

Activity 5
Age group: 3-5 year-olds

Vocabulary: colours (red, yellow, pink, green, orange, violet and blue)
Time: 15’
Material: website
Interaction Pattern: T-Ss

Preparation for the game: to be played in a classroom with E-board and internet access.

Instructions:


1.   Pre-teach / revise colour vocabulary.(suggestion: show some crayons to the Ss)
2.   Play the song.
3.   Call out one S at a time to go to the board to draw the parts of the rainbow.
4.   The T can specify the colours to be used by each S.
